2025 AOG Annual Report

Greetings friends, partners, and supporters!

We pray and believe this report finds you well in the new year. Through your generosity, Angel of God Mission (AOG) had an amazing year in 2025 as you will see through the below report. The Spirit elevated our Mission across every activity we engaged in. In 2025 we were invited to do more for people with low vision leading us to initiate the Amazing Grace Eyeglass ministry. We thank you for taking the time to walk through each activity we are currently actively doing.

Special Needs Children, St. Stephen Ndiko Special School [Kenya]

AOG Mission funds Grants to provide daily hot meals and house learners with special needs at Ndiko Special School located in Gatundu North, Kiambu County, Kenya. This program is fully funded by AOG Mission but done alongside our Kenyan partner FOCUS Dream Center. AOG Mission initiated these Grants in 2021, during the worldwide pandemic COVID-19. Food supplies to families and especially to children with disabilities were desperately needed.

In 2025, these grants have grown to serve daily hot meals to over thirty learners with special needs. In 2025, twenty of these thirty learners live at the Ndiko Special School. Angel of God Mission funds the boarding fees for all 20 learners.

The impact of these Grants have transformed Ndiko Special School into a thriving center of hope for families. The children go to school rather than remaining at home. They are respected, taught basic life skills, and have greater opportunities to engage with other children.

Since 2021, the staff has grown from one teacher and a part-time aide to six full time staff comprised of teachers, teachers’ aides, dormitory guardian, and cook at Ndiko every day. Mission’s teams regularly visit the children at Ndiko bringing joy to their hearts (as well, to the hearts of the visitors). AOG Mission visits Ndiko regularly and holds progress meetings (via Zoom) with Head Teacher Madam Jane Kariuki at the beginning of each term (Jan, Apr, Aug) to closely monitor how the children are doing and ensure the Grant funding is being properly applied and well managed.

Amazing Grace Eyeglass Clinics & Labs

One of the best things that happened in 2025 was the still small whisper from the Spirit to "do more for the blind..." This occurred in January 2025, during Surge 21, a churchwide twenty one day period dedicated fasting and prayer. After wrestling for 3 months in earnest prayer begging "what do you mean by this?", God led us to expand our outreach to include eyeglass clinics to screen and distribute reading glasses while sharing the Gospel of Jesus.

AOG Mission partnered with eyeglass missionary Dr. Gordon Mendenhall who we funded to come to Worcester to train and equip us to conduct reading glass screenings. We conduct the screening, invite them to give their life to Jesus, then give them a Bible and a recycled pair of reading glasses. We conducted a pilot reading glass clinic in Worcester serving people who are homeless alongside our partner Pst Rich Gonzalez, Net of Compassion Mission.

We purchased two travel clinics and shipped one to Kenya and I brought 1 to Ghana where we have conducted over 150 screenings, shared the Gospel message of Jesus, and gave the gift of vision to needy people. In 2025, we received about 2,000 pr donated eyeglasses from another partner, Lexington Lions Club. We packaged the eyeglasses and sent a 70 liter blue barrel with 1,200 pr eyeglasses, optician tool kit, a lensmeter to measure the magnification of donated reading glasses to establish an optician lab in Kenya. We are currently packing the second barrel to establish launch reading glass clinics and an optician lab in Ghana.

International Family Retreat [Ghana]

Since 2024 AOG Mission has partnered with Joni & Friends, a US based mission dedicated to serving families and people affected by disabilities. AOG Mission initiated Grants in 2024 and 2025 to sponsor 3 families to attend the week-long International Family Retreat providing the entire family an amazing fun-filled vacation including worship time, fellowship time, skill building, and much needed respite for caregivers within the family.

The family is housed together but has an action-packed week delivered through trained volunteers from local churches that host activities that include worship time, building respect, bringing joy, self-esteem, fellowship, and a sense of community to each member of the family. For the moms, this respite and fellowship time is cherished while their loved one is cared for by trained volunteers. It truly brings joy to their hearts and restoration to their faith.

Wheels for the World Outreach [Ghana]

Since 2021 AOG Mission has partnered with the Wheels for the World Outreach ministry of Joni and Friends (JAF). Their nationwide team of dedicated volunteers collect and transport unused wheelchairs locally to regional prison restoration programs where the equipment is skillfully serviced, completely repaired, and fully brought into operational condition. During a Wheels Outreach event, the US based team, comprised of trained physical therapists and a mechanic crew, supported by an in-country host team, select appropriately sized equipment and properly fit each recipient with a restored wheelchair of their very own.

Each Outreach event distributes more than 200 wheelchairs and mobility aids to people with disabilities. AOG Mission participated in Outreach events in Takoradi, Ghana in 2021, Kumasi, Ghana in 2022, and Winneba, Ghana 2025.

AOG Mission has witnessed hundreds of people receiving wheelchairs give their life to Christ and get connected with a local church where their faith can grow in community of other believers. As a direct result of observing this Kingdom impact, AOG Mission is committed to continue our participation in these Outreach events.

A Day of Help [Ghana]

AOG Mission initiated Grants in 2022 to support volunteer teams to attend A Day of Help at various locations in Ghana. A Day of Help is a one-day event within a week-long crusade event hosted by a regional network of Christian Churches held at different cities in Ghana each year where more than 1,000 wheelchairs are fitted and distributed to people with disabilities.

As it is difficult to recruit volunteers to take time off work and travel out of town to attend these events, AOG Mission initiated a Grant to pay expenses of volunteer teams enabling members to participate. In 2025, accelerated by AOG Grants consistently provided for several years, the team of volunteers grew to twelve and the number of wheelchairs distributed exceeded 1,100 in one day!

Kidney Transplant Compassion Offering [Ghana]

While attending the 2025 Wheels for the World Outreach event in Ghana, we learned that Pastor Joel Quansah’s daughter’s kidney condition had deteriorated to the point where doctors were proposing a kidney transplant. Now 21 yrs old, her kidney condition first arose in 2022. She is under the care of a team of three kidney specialists as she has been receiving dialysis treatment for the past 2 years at the International Maritime Hospital at Tema, Ghana.

During our time in Ghana, the Lord placed an unmistakable prompting of the Spirit for us to take action to give financial aid to cover some medical expenses.

Upon return to the US after the Outreach, we launched an appeal for a Compassion Offering for funds for the kidney transplant. God opened the hearts of many and AOG Mission was able to raise and send more than half of the estimated cost of the transplant. Currently, the team of doctors are testing, adjusting treatments, while closely monitoring her health. The team initiated a new treatment regime prior to undertaking a last resort transplant option. Thus far the results indicate a positive response. It will likely take months to get more conclusive results.

While AOG Mission never anticipated involvement with this kind of challenge, we faithfully followed the promptings of the Spirit and are leaving the outcome to the Lord’s Will. We earnestly request your prayers that God will intervene and heal this medical need.

Faith & Fellowship CONNECT Group [Zoom]

In early 2021 AOG Mission launched a CONNECT Group aimed at providing much needed fellowship to people with disabilities. We meet weekly via Zoom where we spend time in fellowship, read and discuss a selected “Scripture Verse of the Week”, and pray for one another’s needs. This is a small but mighty CONNECT Group where we have built a steady place of community, encouragement, and friendship as we spend time in the Word together.

Utility Trailer to collect/transport wheelchairs [New England, USA]

In 2025 wheelchair collections were up 125% from the past 5 years. AOG Ministry made six out-of-state repeat trips exceeding 200 miles to collect donated wheelchairs. AOG Mission investigate alternatives to increase capacity collecting wheelchairs. The Lord prompted an anonymous donor to make a four-figure cash offering in an unsigned envelope with the message: “Go get a utility trailer to collect more wheelchairs”. In September 2025 AOG Mission purchased a new 5 x 8 utility trailer and dubbed it with the name “Wheelchair Willie”. The trailer has already made an impact through a number of out of state collections transporting wheelchairs to the storage location at Liberty Church in Shrewsbury, MA.

Fuel supporting Wheelchair Collection [New England, USA]

AOG Mission supports wheelchair collection by funding fuel costs to pre-approved wheelchair transporters. This fuel support has directly resulted in more collection trips therefore more wheelchairs collected.

Restore AOG Mission Website [Chicago, IL]

Over a year ago our website was hacked and brought down. This was devastating as we were actively seeking donations, pointing supporters to it, only to be embarrassed to discover that it was locked down and had to be entirely replaced. Through much prayer and petition, by God’s grace, we were connected with someone who agreed to work with us to start it all over again. Currently, the AOG Mission website (www.angelofgodmission.org) is up and running again. We will be investing much time and effort in this communication resource in the weeks and months ahead. Please take a moment to pay a visit, leave a comment, and be patient as we re-equip it.
